When you walk into our Hot Springs branch in Bath County, VA, you’ll most likely be greeted by the smiling face of Pam Kincaid.
Pam has worked as a Customer Service Representative for Highlands Community Bank for the past year and a half. While each day is different, she spends a lot of her time helping customers open new checking accounts, learn how to use online banking, and issue debit cards. She also assists the Highlands team by running balance reports and helping the tellers daily.
A History of Community Banking
Pam previously worked for First & Citizens Bank for 13 years. After a short amount of time at another larger bank, she jumped on the opportunity to return to providing personalized banking solutions for local companies and individuals of the Bath County community.
“Here, I truly feel like a part of the community where everyone knows everybody,” says Pam. “It’s easier to make your own decisions and provide the best solutions for our customers.”
Work-Life Balance
Pam especially appreciates the flexibility that comes with working at a hometown community bank. She’s able to check out after 5 o’clock to help with chamber events and after school activities. She also enjoys spending her weekends with her youngest son at soccer camp, working in the garden, and getting outdoors.
Make sure you say “Hello!” to Pam next time you’re in our Bath County branch! She’d be happy to help you with any questions you may have.
